Twilight-inspired invitations

As you know, my daughter recently turned 13.  Instead of the traditional type party, she wanted to take some of her friends to see the new movie ‘Twilight.’  I’ve made her invitations as far back as I remember and so it was natural that she would ask me to make the invitations.  We went with a copy of the cover of the book Twilight and I altered it in Gimp to take all the text from the original away and simply add in the invitation text.  I backed it with just colored red paper, created the insert in Publisher and backed that with the same red paper.  The envelopes were made from simple tracing paper.  Silly me forgot to think about paper for envelopes when we were purchasing supplies!  I therefore had to make due with what I had on hand.  Total cost for the invitations was about $2 for 7. Cost was only for cardstock for actual folding card part.  The rest was regular paper/colored paper or paper I had on hand.

I hope you like them!
